Turtle Cay Resort - Virginia Beach

That was just what we needed.

We had a terrific service, well stocked room with kitchen, things like tissue, bathroom. The setting of hotel was amazing, on the beach.

Enjoyed every detail about my really nice 3 nights stay here. They gave me a large and spotless room with tub, king bed, for example. The food was fab and the stuff where superbly friendly and amicable. It was in a great and convenient location close to restaurants and bars👌👍

We loved excellent location.

All staff were attentive, the room was impressive.

The room was not cleaned but marked clean and available with king bed. The location was nice and unbeatable in a very nice area, next to nice restaurants and beach, the beach, restaurants, shops, board walk and an inclusive play ground, and Turtle Cay.

A small restaurant would be ideal.

pool area is really very nice and especially suitable for smaller children thanks to the shallow water. in one morning, small breakfast with coffee, juice and muffins was even served there for free and in some evenings, movie is shown on a screen. with a little fantasy one forgets that right in front of the hotel, all the bed castles block the view to the beach and unfortunately make this part of virginia beach very unattractive in our eyes. the suite was very spacious with a big bathroom and a complete kitchen. nice sitting area with (artificial) fireplace and a nice balcony facing the pool landscape. where the three of us could have a good breakfast, everything was really very clean when we arrived and bed was very comfortable. we didn't notice any noise from neighbouring rooms. our room was also on the top floor, maybe it is still good to know: as the complex is an all-suite-hotel and is rather managed like holiday apartments. there is no daily room service,

at one or the other corner the layout is rather worn out and aged (probably still top by american standards, for us critical europeans it didn't look that fresh anymore). in the kitchen, cutlery drawer was broken and broke when pulling it out, (plastic) railing on the balcony was very unstable and mechanics of the shower spray didn't work as well anymore. unfortunately, air conditioning was so loud that we couldn't let it run at night.

microwave was heavily contaminated inside. high resort fee (comes on top of the room price), garbage has to be brought to the garbage chute by yourself, hotel construction is made of wood and you can feel every movement in the environment by the swinging of the wood (i had very lively room neighbours). attention in the whole place (independently of the hotel) strong aircraft noise by nearby military airport

The heated outdoor pool was perfect for the kids, and having a kitchen made family meals so convenient. The relaxing courtyard and activities offered were great additions to our stay. We also enjoyed the beautiful hot tubs!

Superb location near the beach and restaurants!. The swimming pool is very well maintained. Friendly and attentive staff to make our stay perfect!. Wonderful place for family holidays!

Bathtub clogged due to sand build-up.

rooms were clean and comfortable. staff was very helpful. there is a nice pool. beach is only one block away.

The resort charges a "resort fee" of $12.50 per day - completely unnecessary, dubious procedure.

Had an amazing time! The huge pools and hot tubs were a real treat. The spacious room felt so luxurious with a giant bathroom. Can't wait to return!
